About

I spend Sunday mornings with messy hair, a big shirt, the latest issue of Vogue and a hot chai tea latte. This is often followed by reflecting on the week gone by. Which is when it came to me…to create a blog as a way to share and express my musings.

Being brought up in an Asian society I’ve been influenced from a very young age by my mother and grandmothers. From traditional hair oil treatments, to make-up and hair removal techniques such as threading and waxing.

I am enthused daily from seeing the wide variation of the way people dress on my commute to work in the mornings to admiring 1950-60’s fashion in an episode of Madmen before going to sleep. Of course in between all that social media, such as Instagram, plays a huge role in having a constant stream of fashion flowing through the day. I’ve always had a passion for fashion and a great eye for detail. This is one of the many reasons I absolutely love visual merchandising in stores. They give off so many wonderful ideas and never fail to get me thinking about how I can switch up various outfits.

As soon as I set foot in the West End of London, this feeling of absoluteness comes over me and I feel at complete ease and utter happiness. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Selfridges is my ultimate playground, and the amazing ambiance of the variety of restaurants and bars you can find in St Christopher’s Place. I also spend my time going to see shows and absorbing the art and beauty of it all. I am absolutely enthralled by the way in which a stage production can make a story come to life so exquisitely.

Other than this being a platform as a way to share my thoughts and ideas with you all, I absolutely love collaborating so please don’t hesitate to get in touch either on here, via email or twitter.

Much love,

A x
